Nepalese bowlers have bundled out the Dutch batsmen for 158 with a ball to spare in their second match of ICC Cricket League Division 2 in Windhoek, Namibia.
Losing the toss and asked to bowl first on Sunday, Nepali skipper Paras Khadka claimed two wickets in two overs to reduce the Dutch side to 43 for 4 after 15 overs. Likewise, Sompal Kami, Shakti Gauchan and Basanta Regmi took two wickets each, while Regmi set a record of 100 wickets in the World Cricket League Division.
Dutch batsman Michael Rippon top scored 53 runs off 117 balls with two boundaries. Karan, Khadka and Regmi bowled three, two and one maiden overs for Nepal.
Nepal had lost their first match against Uganda by two runs and a victory in this match will surely boost the team’s confidence.
