The family members of Arati Sunar have claimed Arati as as the world’s shortest person. Sunar is a permanent resident of Bhorle VDC-3 in Parbat district. Arati is 11 year old but she is just 26 inches tall. The girl weighs 5 kg. Arati was born on 15th of Falgun 2061. When she was born she weighs just 5 gm. her health condition was fine although she was weak that time. The doctors had said that the development of girl could not occur in the womb itself and this has been a reason for her gradual physical development.
The family members are worried for her gradual physical development.
The condition of Arati was made public when the girl was brought to Syangja for she suffered from diarrhea. Her story was known to a journalist in Malla pharmacy and thus the reality of Arati was made public. The mother of Arati is literate and her father is deployed as a soldier in Indian Army. Recently he is in Nagaland, working for India. Arati has got two brothers but their condition is fine. Khagendra Thapamagar (18), the world’s shortest person, is also from Parbat. Guinness Book of World Records had recognized him as the world’s shortest person.
