Two persons died of suffocation in a room in Pepsikola on the outskirts of Kathmandu, on Friday evening. Police said Tilak Dahal (50) and his daughter Punam Dahal died due to lack of oxygen in their rented room at around 8:30 pm yesterday.
Though the accident occurred last night, locals knew about the incident only this morning and informed police. Meanwhile, his wife Rama Dahal is taken to the hospital and is undergoing treatment at New Baneshwor-based Civil Service Hospital. Further investigation into the case is underway.
