Sonu Bai has been working in human trafficking for 17 years was arrested from Boudha, Kathmandu by the police. Sonu Bai alias Saraswati is arrested by the police for she was engaged in the human trafficking. In the same, it was also revealed that that Sonu Bai forces women so that they can be sold in Mumbai.
Making Mumbai as a hub of human trafficking, she forced to several of Nepalese women and makes them involve in prostitution. But the Court had sentenced her to be imprisoned for 10 years by 2055 in accusation of the involving in the human trafficking. Women who were sold in India returned to Nepal and informed to the NGOs about Sonu Bai. Mira Bai and Sonu Bhai were actively involved in the human trafficking. It was also revealed that Sonu Bai was the owner of brothel in Mumbai.
