A Rally to exert Pressure on Reviving the Constitution of 2047 BS

National Civic Struggle Committee, Kathmandu, organized a rally to exert pressure on political parties on reviving the constitution of 2047 BS.

Hundreds of participants form Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur gathered in the Shanti Batika, located in Ratna Park, and marched a rally to Basantapur, which was converted into a mass meet.
Former Information and Communication Minister Shrish Shamsher JBR, president of Shiv Sena Nepal, Bikram Bahadur Bam, convener of the struggle committee, Kishor Bahadur Singh, and others addressed the mass.

Most of the speakers at the mass meet echoed their voice, saying as the erstwhile Constitutional Assembly (CA) failed without bringing a fruit due to carelessness of the political parties, and the incumbent CA is illegitimate itself. Therefore, constitution of 2047 BS is the best choice to revive so as to address the desire and sentiment of the Nepali people. They also blamed foreign powers as playing a vital role in failing the constitution of 2047 BS.
