If No Justice for us, Finally I Immolate in front of Prachanda and Baburam!

Ujjan Shrestha, a victim who was brutally killed by Maoist Law Maker Balkrishna Dhugel in 1998 June 24 at Okhaldhunga district. Ujjan was killed without any mistake he committed. He was from a middle family. He was killed in Okhaldhunga-7 Tarkebari when two porters woke him up at around 3 am, insisting that he take them to Dhobi Danda Bazar. On the way, after 45 minute walk, Ujjan was alarmed when a torch light fell on his eyes. He was killed while going to buy necessary materials in Ramechhap.

The victim’s sister, Sabitri Shrestha recalls the traumatic situation caused in that time. Ujjan Shrestha was killed after shooting him. But he was dead even after being shot with a bullet by Dhungel. A bullet passed through his skull and he went tumbling down the terrace. The body of Ujjan was even brutally injured with Khukuri as said by his sister. Then his body was hurled into Likhu River. Ram Kumari Shrestha, the mother of Ujjan lamented on the death of Ujjan. She found two three drops in the road.

Then she saw a pool of blood of her son. She fainted after seeing death body of Ujjan. Even after that Ganesh Shrestha was killed reaching to his farm after 4 years. Two sons out of 7 sons were killed without any reason. The poor mother describes the painful story and asks for the justice that her sons were killed without any reason. Ujjan’s murderer Balkrishna Dhungel is now a Maoist CA member. The daughter of Ganesh committed suicide after seeing her father dead near her in 2006. Based on the statement of the porters, the Supreme Court slapped a life time imprisonment on Dhungel, who had fired the shot.
