Anup Rana Magar threw acid on Anjana Tandukar at Lalitpur. At Basantapur, Kathmandu a man threw acid and was caught six days ago. Likewise, and on Magh 8, at lalitpur, Krishnamandir lady was also thrown acid by a stranger. He was caught by Nepal Crime Division and he accepted the case. The intention of the boy was to throw in the face but fortunately she was able to escape and it reacted on some parts.
The lady was immediately taken to the hospital. The police kept it secret because they are in misconception of being negative message in the Nepali society. The boy named Jivan BK who threw acid two ladies at Basantapur was caught by police from his rented house. The police are upgrading case for right of the victims. The investigation upon Rana Magar is publicized in front of media. The metropolitan police office has given order not to sell the acid from the shops.
