Since hundred years bull fight program organized on Maghe Sakranti Festival for entertain but at this time it is change as a competition. Not only people of nearby District, People of Capital reached for bull fight competition program at Chandanipaata Taruka of Nuwakot. On Chandanipaata sixteen bulls participate on competition and eight bulls are participating on Mitrawati competition on Thursday. Local people compare bull fights with their status. When the prize is giving to the owner of winner bull from the last year, people are giving importance to this fight.
Chakra Bhadur Dangol the President of that competition says, ancestor starts this fight from the 1849 BS so we are giving continuity to this fight. First this fight is done for only local people but at this time it is popular so different Organizations of District and Nepal Tourism Board also giving importance to fight. It is belived that this fight is started to gave entertain to Bhajhani King Jay Prithi Bajadur Sing when he is on Uncle’s home at Taruka. Local farmer of Taruka for this fight, they gave priority to bull and their food.
