Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has said the government is committed on promulgation of constitution, on the basis of consensus, on stipulated time frame, January 22. PM Koirala delivered such a positive statement on Thursday, while laying foundation stone to construct an international airport in Bhairahawa.
There was no alternative than of following due process, if and in case, consensus among the political parties failed, stressed Koirala. Koirala expressed his dissatisfaction over the nature of UCPN-M and Madhesh based political parties, whom he reasoned of obstructing constitution writing process by not sitting for consensus. Prime minister said he was hopeful of increment of tourists in the country after the airport comes into operation. He also urged the concerned authority to work for proper use of resources found in the country on building the nation.
